Certified Quality
& Potency
The formulations meet strict pharmaceutical standards and undergo extensive testing for identity, purity, and potency. Every batch is verified to ensure consistent, reliable dosing and the highest level of safety.

503A compounding pharmacies source raw ingredients exclusively from FDA-registered suppliers and perform identity testing to confirm each chemical meets required purity specifications before use. This process helps ensure that only qualified ingredients enter the compounding workflow, unlike many retail supplements that may not undergo independent verification.

GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP microdoses are lower-dose, provider-guided versions of GLP-1–based therapies, when offered as part of our Ellie MD program, designed to support appetite regulation and metabolic wellness as part of a personalized care plan.
Microdosing uses smaller, individualized doses tailored to your goals and tolerance. These therapies interact with natural pathways involved in appetite and glucose balance, and are prescribed following a medical evaluation.
Although microdosing programs are not intended for major weight loss, some individuals experience gradual changes in appetite and eating patterns over time. Your licensed provider will help determine whether a program that incorporates microdosing is appropriate for you.
Microdosing GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP refers to using lower doses of the medication to support long-term health and longevity, rather than for diabetes or weight management. As hormone-mimicking therapies, GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP act on natural pathways that help regulate appetite, insulin signaling, and inflammation. When microdosed, they may help reduce chronic inflammation, enhance metabolic function, and support cardiovascular health—key factors for aging well and maintaining vitality over time.
While microdosing programs are not intended for significant weight loss, program participants may experience reduced appetite and cravings, leading to gradual, sustained weight management. The primary focus of the EllieMD programs, however, are on supporting overall metabolic health, lowering the risk of chronic disease, and promoting long-term resilience. Always consult with a healthcare professional to determine whether microdosing aligns with your individual health goals.
Microdosing GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP is an off-label longevity product and not a dedicated weight management solution. While the focus of microdosing programs is on long-term health and aging, program participants may experience reduced appetite, curbed cravings, and promotion of gradual, sustained weight loss for those aiming to maintain a healthy weight. For significant weight loss, we recommend our weight management programs. Always consult with a healthcare professional to determine whether any new program is appropriate for you.
Weight Management programs are designed with weight reduction as the primary goal and typically use dosing strategies intended to achieve clinically significant weight loss. Our weight management program requires a BMI of 25 or higher.
Microdosing programs pair our unique support offerings with lower, individualized medication doses with the goal of supporting overall metabolic and physiologic health. This program focuses on how incretin-based therapies support metabolic signaling, inflammation balance, and cardiometabolic health while prioritizing tolerability and long-term adherence.
GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP microdose therapy programs may be appropriate for adults interested in supporting appetite regulation and overall metabolic wellness as part of a medically guided program.
Some individuals choose microdosing programs to help support:
- Appetite awareness and eating behaviors
- Healthy glucose balance
- Overall metabolic function
Eligibility is determined by a licensed healthcare provider following a medical evaluation. Individual results may vary and are not guaranteed.
Dosing is personalized through your selection of formulation and supportive ingredients in consultation with a licensed healthcare provider. Your healthcare provider will help select between GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP and a complementary additive, such as B12, L-carnitine, or glycine, based on what aligns best with your wellness goals.
Additives are considered by your provider to support different aspects of overall health alongside GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP microdosing. The right choice depends on what type of support you’re most interested in.
Vitamin B12
Best for: Energy and Foundational Metabolic Support
B12 (methylcobalamin) plays a foundational role in energy metabolism, red blood cell formation, and nervous system function. Many people choose B12 as a well-rounded, foundational option that supports daily energy levels and general metabolic health.
Glycine
Best for: Sleep, Muscle Preservation, and Cognitive Function
Glycine is an amino acid involved in neurotransmission, muscle recovery, and sleep regulation. It is often chosen by individuals who prioritize restorative sleep, stress resilience, or recovery as part of their longevity and wellness goals.
L-Carnitine
Best for: Exercise Recovery, Energy Production, and Fat Metabolism
L-carnitine helps the body use fat for energy and supports exercise recovery, making it a popular choice for people who want to support metabolic efficiency and day-to-day energy. Individuals focused on metabolic performance, energy utilization, or active lifestyles often choose L-carnitine as their additive.
Each order of GLP-1 Microdose includes three 1mL vials of GLP-1 and, if clinically appropriate, an additive (B-12, Glycine, or L-Carnitine). Dosing is determined by your licensed provider based on your individual protocol. A single order is designed to last 12 weeks.
Each order of GLP-1/GIP Microdose includes three 2mL vials of GLP-1/GIP and, if clinically appropriate, an additive. Dosing is determined by your licensed provider based on your individual protocol. A single order is designed to last 12 weeks.
GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP Microdose are administered via subcutaneous injection. Common injection sites include the lower abdomen or thigh. Always follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider or the detailed guidelines included with your medication to ensure safe and proper administration. It is essential that you provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, current conditions, and all medications or supplements you are taking. Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect your safety and treatment outcomes.
The most common side effects of GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP microdose therapy are related to the digestive system and typically occur as your body adjusts to treatment. These may include nausea, decreased appetite, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, or abdominal discomfort. Fatigue, headache, or mild dizziness may also occur, particularly during the early stages of therapy. Most side effects are mild to moderate and improve over time or with dose adjustments.
Less common side effects include acid reflux symptoms, injection site irritation, or changes in bowel habits. Rare but serious side effects may include severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, allergic reactions, or signs of gallbladder or pancreatic inflammation.
If you experience severe or persistent symptoms, difficulty keeping fluids down, chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling of the face or throat, or any other concerning reactions, stop using the medication and seek medical attention promptly.
Your prescribing provider will review your medical history carefully to help minimize risks, and dosing may be adjusted based on your individual tolerance and response.
Yes. Even though your prescription is reviewed by a licensed provider, you should inform your primary care physician that you are using GLP-1 or GLP-1/GIP Microdose with your desired additive. Your primary provider has a comprehensive understanding of your medical history and can help ensure coordinated, safe care.
